initiatives, such as Meat Free Mondays and Meatless Mondays, have been
adopted by cities all over the world. For example, the Baltimore city school
district has even adopted a district-wide meat-free Monday to educate
their children about healthy eating and to reduce food costs while also
teaching them about the impact of food choices on the environment.
